Course Description:

The AHA BLS Course is your essential gateway to life-saving skills that could make all the difference in critical situations. Designed by the American Heart Association, this comprehensive course equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies in both prehospital and in-facility settings.

This course will cover:

• Strokes and Heart Attacks
• The BLS assessment
• Adult CPR
• Compressions. Review of rate, depth and ratio for all ages
• Ventilation techniques
• AED overview
• Child CPR
• Infant CPR
• Choking for all ages
• 1 and 2-rescuer scenarios

Course Duration: 3 Hours

Certification: Successful completion of this course provides a 2 year, AHA BLS Provider certificate. 

Requirements:

The AHA requires you to have a provider manual for class. It must be the most current version with 2020 guidelines. If you have one already, you may bring it to class or you can purchase one by choosing from the following purchase options:
